Introducing Perth’s First Smart Freeway
The Commonwealth and State Government recently announced a $2.3bn investment in road and rail infrastructure which included key upgrades to Perth’s freeways including the introduction of Perth’s first Smart Freeway.
James Dobinson, Congestion Program Director, Main Roads WA
James leads Main Road’s freeway transformation strategy focused on improving traffic flow today and to support Perth’s population and economic growth into the future. Over the last two years James has been leading Main Road’s Congestion Program focused on low cost high impact initiatives to improve road journey times.
James has significant program leadership experience in the private and public sector. He started his career in consultancy and transport planning and operations for global sporting events, including two previous Commonwealth Games.
