The official New Zealand launch of the SCLAA will be held in Auckland CBD on Thursday 11 September from 2pm (registration) for interactive discussion from all sectors of industry followed by networking, food and drinks.

PRESENTERS

Chris Foord – Partner, Argon & Co
Chris is a supply chain professional with strong international experience across the value chain in multinational retail and food & beverage industries. With work global experience in Europe, Asia, Middle East and New Zealand, Chris has enjoyed substantial success leading operational transformation programmes across the end to end supply chain covering infrastructure, people, process and systems.

Chris Spence – Chief Growth Officer, Sandfield

Chris Spence is the Chief Growth Officer at Sandfield, where he helps clients navigate and grow in the world of software. With over two decades of experience in international sales and business management, including time spent living and working in Singapore, he has a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed on a global scale, particularly in the logistics and transport sectors. 

Darren O’Connor – Director of Solutions Delivery, Infios
As a senior business leader Darren has managed innovation and complex transformation across many organisations that has delivered both value and new capabilities. He has a keen interest in developing a deep understanding the organisation, its many stakeholder’s interests and needs, and ensuring that the solution is strongly aligned. Darren has considerable knowledge of the full technical stack of IT systems, and brings that to bear in ensuring complex business requirements are solved at the right level.

Alex Tribbia – Senior Sales Manager, APAC Operations, Microlise

With over 12 years in logistics technology, Alex has held leadership roles at last-mile delivery startup Sherpa and zero-emissions transport company Nexport. He now leads commercial growth across the APAC region, helping organisations drive innovation and sustainability in their supply chain operations.

Roald de Groot – Director of Sales, Vanderlande

As Director of Sales for Vanderlande Industries Australia, Roald has been pivotal in expanding the organisation’s footprint across ANZ. Since moving from the Netherlands to Australia in 2012, he has led numerous landmark automation projects for major clients including Woolworths, Asics, Cotton On, Australia Post and Hilton Foods Group, helping strengthen Vanderlande’s position in the region.


 

Peter Jones – Managing Director, Prological
With over 25 years of consulting experience and founder of Prological, Peter is at the forefront of Australian supply chain, warehouse and distribution networks analysis and design. With an intuitive understanding of the relationships and off-sets between manufacturing, international and domestic freight, networks and nodes, warehouse space and inventory levels, Peter has the unique ability to understand complex situations and quickly develop strategies and predict the likely outcome. 

Nick Barnes – Country Manager, New Zealand, Visy Logistics
Nick is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in FMCG Supply Chain. Skilled in Supply Chain Optimization, Warehouse and Distribution, Operations Management, Beverage Industry, Master Scheduling, and Demand Planning.

Scott Schryver – Director, Professional Services, Mobiledock
Scott brings over a decade of experience in supply chain management, primarily within a leading FMCG organization. In February 2025, he joined Mobiledock, where he has been thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team and a diverse, high-caliber customer base. Mobiledock delivers a SaaS-based solution that enables businesses to enhance operational efficiency and streamline logistics processes.

Adam Quinn – Head of Growth, B dynamic Logistics
With 15 years of logistics experience, Adam has worked with major brands across Life Sciences and Healthcare as well as Retail industries.  His expertise spans customer success, strategic partnerships, business development, warehousing operations and process improvement. At B dynamic Logistics, one of ANZ’s fastest-growing 3PL providers, Adam oversees business development, strategic partnerships and the company’s growth strategy. 

Gareth Mitchell – Associate Partner, IRIS by Argon & Co
Experienced executive and consultant across organisations in NZ, Australia, South America and the UK.
Business Transformation Specialist and top 50 NZ CIO having worked across multiple industries, with a focus on business improvement and digital transformation in services and manufacturing settings. Previous roles including GM, CIO, and CEO.
